Goals and Donations
The following Goals are the reasons that we are trying to solicit small donations:
First we hope to collect enough to pay the website maintenance
and data transfer costs. If traffic on the website grows, costs of data delivery
might go up substantially (relative to the base costs.) Snail paced updates to this site have been the result of lack
of available time. Work on this site has been a part time
labor of love. There is much more content that we would like to add, expand upon, but it will require at least one full time
position (as opposed to none.) Donations could make that possible. If this website goes viral (in a good way :-) and we get huge
bunches of small donations, we would like use some of them to build a "Transformations
Retreat / Vision Quest Center." We pledge to try to use any donations that are sent to
Liberation Community in ways that are both ethical and consistent with the
Spirit of the teachings on this website.... but we are human, and every bit as
fallible as the next persons,
so we could end up using your donation to throw a Wild Party
instead, no guarantees, so are you
sure you want to donate?
Guidelines
Only Give from your Abundance.
We don't want the money you may need for this week's groceries
or next month's rent. Only give if you are Sure that you will not
in any way miss the amount you give.
And Only Give from your Joy!
We don't want donations that anyone feels obligated to give. If you aren't feeling happy about throwing a buck in our direction, then PLEASE don't. Wait til it's fun.
Because we do not want to be restricted from making political statements,
Donations are NOT tax
deductible. <Sorry!>
