Click this logo to check out some very cool inspirational quotations. Spend 30 seconds on the www.inspireweb.com site and you'll likely be rewarded with several "AH HAA!" moments and you will not want to leave after the 30 seconds. Try it!

There is a very cool site where, once a day, you can click a button, and your click will cause 1.1 cups of food to be fed to a hungry person. You can save a life by clicking once a day. When you click, it takes you to a page with ads from the sponsors (who pay for the food that your click provided.) They have some very cool items and good one of a kind gift ideas. The website is called The Hunger Site and can be found at www.thehungersite.com Why not make it your homepage or a tab on your homepage?

With a little bit of searching you may find that there is a site named:

www.LiberationCommunity.org

They have a very cool looking website and hearts in the right place. We wish them Godspeed and many blessings.

Books Worth Sharing

  1. The Way of the Wolf    by Martin Bell
This is a wonderful sweet set of short stories, parables, sermons, etc. - Keep a box of tissues handy... So many sweet tears!!   Buy several copies of this book so you can share it with loved ones (it's not very expensive.)
  2. The Undiscovered Self    by Carl Jung
This book is short, but quite dense (I needed to use a dictionary a few times when reading the first few pages,) but then it got easier and incredibly rewarding as it gives a glance into our psyches. Highly recommended for anyone who plans to Vision Quest - Deep Insights.
  3. Fear and Trembling: and The Sickness Unto Death    by Soren Kierkegaard
Ouch! This book is extremely difficult to read, but one of my spiritual teachers once said that you cannot read this book and fully understand it without undergoing a powerful Spiritual Revolution and Awakening.
  4. Tao Te Ching by Lao Tsu    translated by Gia-Fu Feng and Jane English
A beautiful book with simple but EXTREMELY profound Chinese thought and philosophy. Wonderful wisdom and insights.
  5. The Way of Chuang Tzu    by Thomas Merton
It is odd to have a famous Trappist Monk write a translation/treatment of this ancient Taoist Chinese text. I confess that I usually skip ahead to the stories in the middle of the book and bypass the long introduction.
  6. Looking for Spinoza: Joy, Sorrow, and the Feeling Brain    by Antonio Damasio M.D.
Helpful for understanding how our minds really work. Check out this review by Emily Eakin in the NY Times titled "I Feel Therefore I Am"
